We’ve all been children and part of a family, no matter what kind of family it is, whether living all together or dispersed. Children, parents, grandparents and other relatives are all members of our families as are step-children or step-parents. They are often a source of great joy. They can also be a source of anxiety, worry and conflict. Sometimes it’s difficult to know where you can turn to talk through family issues and get some help. Often, those closest to you are very involved themselves. Or you don’t want to worry them. It may be that you don’t know where to turn.

You may find it helpful at these times to talk to an experienced professional who is not going to judge you or your family members. Perhaps most crucially of all, they will be there to listen and to help you to explore your thoughts and feelings and the way forward.
